I have been MIA, but I’ve truly been inspired lately. Here are two great things to watch:

If you are into spoken word, I mean jaw dropping, make you want to jump off the couch and clap, spoken word, this is the perfect treat for you. I love spoken word, I have been going to open mic’s since high school, so this is my Wednesday night must watch. They also have music artists performing, from Jill Scott, to Mary Mary, you can really get your soul on!

Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child: 

Artist Jean-Michel Basquiat is the subject of this insightful documentary featuring a never-before-seen interview conducted beforehis untimely death. You don’t even have to know how this man is or be into art, to really appreciate this documentary. It is truly awing and inspiring.

If you have a Netflix account, that is all you need. Search for Jean-Michel Basquiat, and you will not be sorry you did.
